Is Orderzy a Petpooja alternative?
Yes, for dine-in-first restaurants. Petpooja is built around back-office billing and works well for restaurants that already have that operating model. Orderzy is built around the dining table and treats the diner as a first-class user. If your restaurant is dine-in led and you want the diner side handled, Orderzy is the alternative.
Is Orderzy cheaper than Petpooja?
The restaurant pays Orderzy nothing. Petpooja runs on an annual subscription; Orderzy runs on a different model, explained fully on our pricing page. No annual bill to renew, no per-outlet software fee, and no commission on your menu orders.
Does Orderzy need extra hardware like a Petpooja setup?
No. Orderzy is browser-only. Kitchen dashboard, staff fast-order screen, and settlements all run on any phone, tablet, or laptop you already own. A Petpooja rollout typically needs a billing terminal, kitchen printers, and sometimes a tablet. Orderzy needs none of that.
Can Orderzy do everything Petpooja does?
Orderzy covers dine-in ordering, QR-per-table, kitchen dashboard, staff fast-order entry, itemised billing, UPI payments via Cashfree, offers engine, waitlist, table reservations, and settlements. It does not cover deep back-office accounting, inventory ledger, or CA-grade reporting. If your restaurant needs those, keep a POS for that side. If those are overkill, Orderzy is enough.
How fast can I switch from Petpooja to Orderzy?
Most restaurants finish Orderzy registration, add their menu, download their QR codes, and take their first order inside 30 minutes. You do not have to switch cold. Run Orderzy in parallel for a week, see the diner-side experience, and then decide. Aditya, the founder, is on WhatsApp if you want a walkthrough.
