About the fee

Neighbourhood outlets: ₹1 to ₹5 per bill. Larger multi-outlet brands: up to ₹10 per bill. Not a percentage of your food. Not a percentage of your table. One small number, disclosed on every bill.
Questions

The stuff people actually ask.

Is the platform fee a service charge?
No. Service charge, if any, is set by the restaurant and shows as its own line on the bill. The platform fee is a separate line that funds Orderzy.
Do restaurants pay Orderzy anything?
The customer's platform fee is what funds the platform. Restaurants collect it with the bill and settle it weekly to Orderzy. Nothing comes out of the restaurant's menu revenue.
Can I still ask a waiter to take my order?
Yes. Orderzy is optional per table. Scan the QR and order from your phone, or wave the waiter over. Same menu, same prices.
What if my phone dies mid-order?
The waiter has the same order screen on their tablet. Your table stays open. Nothing is lost.
Is my payment safe on Orderzy?
Payments run through an RBI-authorised payment gateway. Orderzy never stores your card or UPI details.
Do you charge for cash payments?
Cash bills carry the same small platform fee, added to the printed bill. Method of payment does not change the fee.
