Why we chose not to build broadcast marketing.
Most restaurant software will let you blast a "50% off" message to every customer you ever served. We chose not to build that. Here is why.
Two spammy blasts and your regulars block your number. Every restaurant on our platform then pays the price, because Meta throttles our whole WhatsApp channel. And more importantly, the way you know a restaurant cares about you is that the owner calls you by name when you walk in, not that they hit send on a template.
Orderzy gives you their name, their favourite dish, when they last visited, and one tap to reach out. Personal, every time. That's it. That's the whole feature.
How your Diner Book fills, even if you only take cash.
- 📱 Post-QR-order sheet. A quiet slide-up after the order lands with the kitchen. Diner types a phone if they want the bill on WhatsApp.
- 🧾 Digital receipt QR. A small acrylic QR next to your counter: "Scan for e-receipt on WhatsApp." Diners who want it, come to you.
- ⭐ Feedback QR at exit. One-tap rating on the way out. Bad experiences leave a private phone so you can call back. Five-star routes to Google.
- 👤 Staff quick-add. A dismissible chip on Fast Order lets your captain save a regular's phone in five seconds.
- 🖨️ Printed bill QR. A small footer QR on every 80mm, A5, and A4 bill: "Get this bill on WhatsApp, scan here."
- 📅 Book for next time. After a happy meal, a soft nudge: "Reserve this table for next Saturday?" Fastest re-visit path there is.
Common questions.
- Does Orderzy have a CRM?
- Yes, we have Diner Book. It shows you every diner who has ordered or paid at your counter, what they usually eat, when they last visited, and lets you reach out personally. It is intentionally not a broadcast marketing tool.
- Can I send WhatsApp offers to all my diners?
- No, and this is deliberate. Broadcasts train diners to block your number. We give you their number and one-tap tools so you can reach out personally, which works better anyway.
- Where does the diner data come from if I only take cash?
- Five places: the digital receipt QR at your counter, the feedback QR at exit, your staff typing a phone during bill entry on Fast Order, the QR on the bottom of your printed bill, and the reserve-for-next-time prompt after payment. All light-touch. All work without a diner login.
- Is my diner data private?
- Yes. It is scoped to your outlet only. No other outlet on Orderzy sees your list. Diners can ask us to redact their record any time under DPDP. You keep your book, permanently, only for as long as you are on Orderzy.
